Meet the Dasher: The Exchange Student Who Loves Singapore’s Blend of Urban and Nature

Introducing Shaurya, an exchange student from the Heart of India, Delhi, who is currently studying for a Bachelor’s degree in International Business.

Hi Shaurya! Can you tell us more about yourself?

S: Well, I’m currently in my final year of university and what’s awesome is that as part of the Study Abroad Programme, I got the opportunity to come to Singapore to spend my last month before I graduate.

That’s awesome indeed! Which area are you living in and how long have you been a Dash Living tenant?

S: I’m living in Dash Living on Mackenzie and it’s been an amazing month here.

What was amazing about your stay with us!

S: To be really honest, Dash Living skyrocketed beyond my expectations after I started living here. To me, this place is a nutshell composed of every good thing that one as a guest-cum-traveler looks forward to. The rooms are affordable, the staff is kind and courteous, the utility services are efficient, there is proper management, cleanliness is maintained, and the list goes on!

However, if I have to choose the star factor, then it’d be the Social Lounge! As a student-cum-traveler, I find it super convenient to have the laundry, kitchen, utensils, etc. in one place.

We’re so glad you’re satisfied with our facilities! How was your experience with the Dash Community? Did you meet any nice people during your stay with Dash Living?

S: It’s been great. I mostly came into contact with the staff so I can only share my experience with them. From the very first day, I was overwhelmed by the kindness of the staff members as they walked the extra mile to make sure that my stay here is convenient and comfortable.

What’s rare with Dash Living is that I don’t feel like I’m talking to robotic hospitality professionals. The staff exudes amiability and reliability, and they have good humour and a vibe of ‘homeliness’. The Dash Community is a perfect example of community living!

Thank you for the kind words! We heard that you’ve made plans to go to the Night Safari this weekend! Did you discover any other interesting spots in SG? If yes, which is your favorite?

S: Singapore harbors and manages both urbanscape and naturescape really well. So far, I’d say I really love the Treetop Walk. It’s so serene & peaceful!

Would you recommend Dash Living to your friends and family? Why?

S: I’ve been enthusiastically recommending Dash Living shortly after a week of my stay here. And not just to my family or friends, but also to my university as they are always on the lookout for a good place where their foreign students can stay.

Why do I recommend Dash Living? Well, by now, you must have observed that I only have good words for the exceedingly good experience of my stay here at Dash Living. It’s a ‘home away from home’ for me. As I mentioned, the star point of Dash Living is that it’s super convenient for a traveler. I’m definitely going to share with people about the kind staff here when I venture ahead in my life.
